ABOUT Katherine

Born and raised in Miami, Fl Katherine’s hispanic background led her in planning and hosting a Gallery Event highlighting photography by Cesar Rodriguez at the New Orleans Jazz Museum. Providing an inside perspective on other’s lives and empathy for others is the main objective for every project she does.

Katherine will spend the next few years in Miami educating students the importance of media literacy and using it to their advantage for any future endeavors.

PHILOSOPHY

The most necessary skill in life is communicating and understanding others with empathy. Understanding others' viewpoints while still stating your opinions with respect for one another is vital.

Motivating others, guiding and helping them grow to become more independent and confident for all future endeavors is needed for the next generation to be successful and make our communities a better place to live.

Leaving a positive legacy online and around us for future generations to see is my ultimate philosophy as I strive for change within our society and in the media.
